Qt using the same system

I have this custom tank and it's 4 tanks combined into one system. My question is can I use one of the tanks as a qt or is it a no go because it's one system.

If they share the same sump it would be essentially useless as a QT

Yep, useless as a true qt. Sharing water is the biggest no-no. However, if the animals have done qt and you are at observation, you could do that.

if you place a large UV on the qt section drain, it might work.

Only thing with a UV is it would need to be tuned perfectly and no absolute.
