I am currently running 4, 54 watt T5 48" bulbs on my 90. The light is higher off of the aquarium than I like it because its an 8 bulb fixture and as wide as the tank. I purchased a Maxspect Jump L165. It is not big enough to manage the entire 90 so I thought I'd try the Nicrew Hypereef 30 on the other side. The T5s make a lot of heat. I run 3 blues and a white. The maxspect makes the tank look prettier with its spectrum. I haven't had the Nicrew in the tank yet. Does it seem like these will be enough? Is there are reason apart from cost people are getting away from T5?

Just wondering of the Nicrew 30 and Maxspect are going to be enough on the 90. I think they will but maybe I just have to try it. Is this going to be enough for my soft corals, trumpet coral and my anemones?
