Is it stupid to light a 18 cube tank with 24 inch hybrid t5 light?

or should i get an led bar instead??

or is my current lighting setup good enough?

Current setup is 2 primes over it and im looking into growing sps. I already had the prime prior to setting this tank up.

Aesthetically it will not look appealing at all if you go with the 24in t5. You'll have tons of light spill into the room. I just wouldn't do it.

A third prime would work to get the overall par up.

How deep is the tank?

It’s about 18 inch deep. This is the tank in question

Looking into growing strawberry shortcake, pikachu, & jf fox flame acros. Bottom would be zoas and an elegance coral.

I have the two primes side by side atm.

Two primes is more than enough and will allow you to turn them down to not burn the lenses out

You wont need any other light.
This is my old 18 nano cube running 2 16hds.
If you cant grow coral with the 2 16hds alone them something else is off.
Zero to 10 months.
