Sort of. It is simply somewhere to post your system, discuss what equipment, methods, and choices you make. Also a place to document the system as it progresses. It is as much for yourself as it is for the community. It is amazing to look back at your build thread in 6 months or a year and see all the ways the system has changed in that time. We tend to forget what the system was, this is a way to really see the progress. So yeah... my build thread... is that supposed to be a journal... a diary?
Cool... that’s how I have been treating it : )Sort of. It is simply somewhere to post your system, discuss what equipment, methods, and choices you make. Also, if someone posts in “Tank Emergency” looking for help and they have an updated build thread, I find it helpful to be able to click in there and get some back story on the tank.
To be honest, that’s the main reason I started a build thread. When I have questions... not just emergencies... the people trying to answer my questions can see what I have. It makes things easier for them. : )That is how I use mine as well. It’s a good place to keep some favorite photos to look back on as well to see the progression.
