Question about my build thread

So yeah... my build thread... is that supposed to be a journal... a diary?
Sort of. It is simply somewhere to post your system, discuss what equipment, methods, and choices you make. Also a place to document the system as it progresses. It is as much for yourself as it is for the community. It is amazing to look back at your build thread in 6 months or a year and see all the ways the system has changed in that time. We tend to forget what the system was, this is a way to really see the progress.

Cool... that’s how I have been treating it : )

It can be anything you want it to be, it's your build thread.

My tanks been up and running for years, but when I joined here I started a "build thread". It's more a place for me to dump some thoughts on my tank, and I can review it later. No one really views it, and I'm OK with that.

That is how I use mine as well. It’s a good place to keep some favorite photos to look back on as well to see the progression.

Also, if someone posts in “Tank Emergency” looking for help and they have an updated build thread, I find it helpful to be able to click in there and get some back story on the tank.

To be honest, that’s the main reason I started a build thread. When I have questions... not just emergencies... the people trying to answer my questions can see what I have. It makes things easier for them. : )
