Question on vortech powerheads

I have some MP40W with the older ecosmart drivers i was wondering can i buy the newer quiet drive dry side and would that be compatible with the wet side and do they have mobius? or would i also need to get a newer wet side as well if thats the case i guess its better to buy the whole kits instead thanks for the info

The ecosmarts are compatible with the newer quiet drive controller and you just need the controller itself.
For mobius you need the newer RF chip installed.

As Saltyreef said. I installed RF chips in 2 of my older MP-40. I am not quite sure if it was a wise decision.

Did you like ecosmart live or something? I think you can still go back with a firmware downgrade.

You can with older pumps, but I bought new ones with RF module already installed and had a mix, so I decided to suffer and have everything controlled with Mobius. Slowly getting used to it.

Yea i feel your pain. Im not a big fan of mobius. Tbh i run mine manually not connected to RF and am happy.
