Awesome! What are you running in your membrane compartments anything special or just regular membrane? I seen they have a silica buster membrane.
Mine are just the 150gal per day BRS (Dow)membranes - nothing special

Quick question here.
Changed out resins and already got 0 tds and only burned about a half gallon so far.

The resin stunk though. Do you guys burn off at least 5 gallons of water through new resin after refill?
I guess at what point is it safe to fill ATO after resin change?

First off - YES resin does stink. To answer your question, as I posted earlier I run a dual TDS meter. First probe is just after membrane(s) and 2nd probe is after resin. I open flush valve and run until TDS reads 5 or less (usually 5mins or less) If you don't have a meter I would just wait 5-10 mins and you should be good to go.

Right on my dual meter is set up same exact way. I have 0 ppm coming from anion resin.
I didn't realize how bad the resin stunk and wasn't sure if water was safe to use. I got 0 tds super fast and wasn't sure if I should run more through it.
So im good to go then?

Awesome I just cleaned out my ato and let about 4 gallons burn off either way. Cant believe how stinky and how fast this water zeroed out! Probably less than half gallon :D

Looks like my resin canisters are refillable whats the best anion and cation resin I could buy to replace?
20210220_153651.jpg
Yours say mixed resin.
But I guess at this point you change it to cation and anion?
Others can chime in here. But usually after cation and anion, it should follow with a mixed bed

I would have suggested dual mixed bed resin.
Then rotate, when the 1st canister ran out, place the 2nd to 1st, put the new mixed resin to 2nd.

I went with cation and anion.
I have 0 tds with no dual mix cartridge.

Do I have to have a dual mix bed after anion?

You should be "golden"!
Do I have to run dual mixed bed after anion resin?
Now I'm worried. Right now I'm only running cation then anion to ato.
Haven't put any water in system yet.

You should have dual bed resin as final stage. I used to run standard dual bed resin, then went to dual dual bed resin and was still cooking through dual bed resin like every other month at least 1 full cartridge. Finally I switch to Cation, Anion & dual bed resins and I go about 4 months on Anion, the Cation & dual bed resins have gone for over a year and I'm getting 0 TDS.

The cation and anion are what is in dual bed resin only 50/50. You should be ok, just add a dual bed in the future.

Alright ill order another canister and dual bed resin.
But am I ok to run it without it until it comes?
Right now I'm going from membrane to cation to anion to ato. I can add the dual bed but am I safe without it until it comes?

Yeah you should ok. Like I said your cation & anion are basically dual bed but separate. But add the dual bed after the others just for added peace of mind.

You might want to add or move you tds meter.

Suggested Deionization Resins for efficient DI usage:

Stage 1 - Pro Series Cation Resin

Stage 2 - Pro Series Anion DI Resin

Stage 3 - Pro Mixed Bed Cation DI Resin

Triple TDS Meter Preinstalled Metering Locations

Sensor 1 - Incoming water to DI stage

Sensor 2 - After DI stage 2 and before DI stage 3*

Sensor 3 - Final output from DI stage 3

Nice im probably going to pick this up.
I am using the pro series its cheap enough especially in bulk.
I'm curious what your readings are at each stage?

Cool I bought the little 1.5 lb refills and still have half of bag each. These little refillable cartridges I have will probably deplete pretty quickly so I may just pick that 3 stage up and be done with it. Thats a super good deal for 3 cans plus triple port tds meter. Almost can't pass it up.

My tap water is 300 -320 TDS, after membranes (I run BRS water saver) it's 4 TDS after resins it's zero.
