If your water pressure is low, booster pump will help for faster production, better membrane rejection, and longer lasting di resin
Water pressure 58 on gauge. 35 TDS going in 0 coming out. That’s with 2 RO filters to max output and min waste.

58 on the gauge is good. But it can be better.

You have 35 TDS going into your DI? That is way high. Mine was 8-10 before I installed the smart booster. Now its 4. It can go down to 3 when it run long enough.

Whats your tap TDS?
My tap is around 175-200

There is such a wide range of what peoples tap water is. I think the lowest I have seen here is 16 and the highest 1200.
Very fortunate in NY - really high quality water and a tremendous supply of it (reservoirs everywhere just north of NYC).

The 2 RO’s are connected back together again into DI before exiting to storage.

I don't understand what are you stating here.
2 RO? You have 1 RO membrane.

What I am asking is what is showing for TDS before your DI stage since you have an inline TDS meter.

2 TDS?

My rodi system only shows TDS going into unit and coming out.

Is that how it's assembled by the manufacturer?
You don't need to know your source water TDS all the time. You need to know the TDS before going in DI, so you can know if the RO membrane need to be replaced

How do you like and do you recommend the smart buddy?

I do like it and recommended it. My only gripes with it, I can't adjust the the water pressure its being boosted. I probably need to open it up to do that. It's running at 100psi at this time.

Have 2 RO’s - here’s a better picture

That's what you have, right?

Of course with the 2nd RO addition

Correct. Doubled output of rodi water and significantly reduces waste.

Guys - I zipped through this thread quickly - here's some feedback:
*Don't use GAC as a prefilter. Use a carbon block instead.
*Don't orient your DI filters horizontally. Always make them vertical with bottom up flow.

Some jargon:
*Resin that has both cation and anion beads is called MIXED BED (rather than dual bed)
*The clear vertical "filter holders" on systems used in this hobby are called HOUSINGS (rather than "canisters." And yes, I know one of the vendors in this hobby erroneously calls them canisters. Like fingernails on a chalkboard!)

One more thing:
On a typically configured RODI in this hobby (sediment filter-> carbon block->RO membrane->mixed bed DI; you'll want a THREE PROBE inline TDS meter
with probes on the feedwater, RO water, and DI water.
Add additional probes by adding 1, 2, or 3 probe meters as needed - you'll want a probe after each membrane, and after each DI stage.
