I for one would be absolutely thrilled for a fresh section. I’ve found family here. All my fresh forums that I cared about, save one, has shut down and it makes me sad.

Here was the same tank used for reefing first. I was worried about seem and didn't want to reuse. Health and things were really bad at that point so no time to take care of with COVID and all.

That fw tank blows away the sw one!

My planted tank was much harder to keep than my nano reef, but I use large nsw changes in place of dosing. Once I got control of cyano, then black beard algae would pop up. Then swords explode but crypts die back, etc, etc. Finally made life easy by quitting planted fw tanks, but am itching to start one again. My vote is for a fw site just like r2r.

Thank you. It is a bit more maintenance than my salt. Plus when I converted it to fresh I messed around with the layout in the beginning so much, seems started to look sketchy so I decided to shut it down before it busted.

I'm not going to lie, I have an IM Nuvo Fusion 15 gallon for my wife's Betta. It has a few other fish, and five or six Amano shrimp I'm happy with. But I'm really looking to kick this tank into overdrive, and (hopefully) make it into something approaching your really nice looking tanks :-)

If the R2R owner/mods/community doesn't want to facilitate discussions of freshwater systems, I would fully understand, But please @Ben's Pico Reefing message me :-)
