To kick off the cold weather season and the start of our introvert, tank fiddling selves, let's strike up the OFFICIAL Radion Schedule Thread.

If you'd like to just share your schedule for the masses, please be sure to add some tank stats. (Radion height off water surface, types of corals, etc.).

Let's talk about percentages, color temps, lighting schedules, and anything else you think is pertinent. ***Bonus points for tank and colony shots!***

Share away, and ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS!

oooh, stoked for this!! just got my radions mounted on the 120 and the tank is almost cycled. already wanna upgrade to the Gen3Pro, LOL

Been using the MPs for quite some time, but with the tank restart, also got a reeflink. im kind new to ESL, so thats been fun to learn/mess with. Seems like lots of options and possibilities, itll be fun to see what everyone else runs on their tanks.

heres a recent(5 mins ago) FTS.

Been using this schedule for the past 6 mo. Got it from the ecotech marine owners club on Facebook. It's Fred Garcia's in the files section of the page. U can only access the files with a computer. Facebook on smartphones won't let u view files.

Finally, I have been using a stock schedule and I wish I didn't have to! Are there any schedules around for the vectras and votecs around also?

I have a single Radion Gen2 with wide angle lenses hanging 12 inches above the water on a Nuvo SR-60 mixed reef setup. I've had great success running this schedule that Alex at EcoTech tweaked for me more than a year ago. I was struggling to find the perfect combination before finally calling for help. We spent a total of about an hour on the phone over three days and he really nailed it.

Started over four months ago and went in a different direction with the livestock. Finally got it the way I want and now I'm sitting back and watching everything grow.

Just ordered it too, following. For how long you think I need to run acclimatization mode after switching from Kessil 360 ?

I just switched about a week ago, my tanks only 16" deep and the lights about 9" over the water. I started at 35% and doing a 2 week acclimation to 45%. I'm taking it slow to be cautious. Just basing it off how the corals look/react. So far they look great. If I think it needs to go up more I'll basically acclimate them 5% per week.

Something that stuck with me was a video that said "corals can live quite a while with little to no light, but can die in a day from too much". 45% looks very bright on my tank so I'll see if I need to go up but I doubt I will go much higher.

Each step will be adjusted by 3-4% every two days. What will give 45% ramp in the next 28 days. So maximum intensity during the day will be 50% at the end of acclimatization period. ;)
