So I introduced an acro frag that happened to have some turf algae. I thought I did a good job dipping, but apparently not, I was very tired and pretty much through it in there so I can go to sleep. Few weeks later, turf algae everywhere.

I picked away at the turf algae then spot treated infected areas with H2O2 and water, 50/50. Used 1 ml per 10 gallon, but turns out it was still too concentrated.

The rainbow convict had a lot of turf algae around it. So I did went heavy on H2O2 around it. Now it is receding.

There are still some flesh on it, but it is for sure receding. No other corals are receding, just this one. Again, it was due to heavy spot treatment. But as long conditions are good and stable, do you think it can make it? I'm not so worried because it is just a frag from my mother colony, I don't want to kill anything either. This happened at a span of half a day.

Here it is suppose to look like:

As you can see, it took some hefty damage. But is there a chance this would recover as long as conditions are fine? How long would this usually take if it does recover?

I’ve had a couple chalices make good comebacks. Some are slow growers so rebound depends on that. Keep it happy :) looks to have enough flesh left to survive.
