I found the guy this morning on the hardwood. I don't know how long he was there for, or how he even managed to wiggle out of the top cover.

He wasn't moving at all in my hand, but still moist so I decided to try saving him.

I picked him up and gently pointed him, head-first, at the powerhead to get oxygenated water moving through his mouth and gills. It took a few minutes but he eventually woke up which was a huge relief. I kept him there for a while longer until he was started breathing normally.

I let him go and he kind of just floated around the tank, stiff as a brick with zero fin movement. He eventually settled on the sandbed upside down but managed to wiggle around just enough to correct himself.

It's been a few hours and he's regained some mobility, but not much. Fins seem to have unlocked a bit but still kind of stiff. He clumsily moves around to his usual spots, occasionally tips over but manages to correct himself.

Any chance he'll make a full recovery? Should I let him be and keep an eye out for a few days?

Allow fish to restore its body slime and take in oxygen. Adding an air stone my help but outcomes are always uncertain

Yes be patient - let him be. However, watch for death (ie. ammonia issues)

Make sure none of the CUC can reach it…..

Lid. Can't trust Goby's, Wrasse, or much of anything else for that matter. Sorry man.

Very sorry to hear this. Hope you can take at least a little comfort in knowing you did absolutely everything you could for it.
