I could give you two reasons and they wouldn't be digits on the thermometer. ;)
To be honest I would take 200 acres anywhere right about now. Even out on the bayou with the snakes and gators. I'm so sick of city living. I need to be someplace where I don't see another building for at least 200 acres. :-)

Nice! That's probably worth framing now. Like people do with sports jerseys. :-) There are just some things you think would never change and that's the team of Randy and Ryan. I half expected to see them doing this from rocking chairs at the age of 102. ;-)

You are right... they are people just like you and me but there are always people who excel at their craft and are able to share their knowledge to make it easier for the newbs like me (and not so newb as well) to hopefully, someday, gain that knowledge and get to at least 1/2 their skill level. :-)

he is the face and voice that I and suspect many of us can and do identify with - man of modest means/tanks and ambition who is always seeking an incremental improvement in his understanding how to use the tools better end the tank happier.
Will follow him to see what he creates
I doubt he is of modest means lol! As soon as he started doing the vids I am sure his income skyrocketed!

Why would anyone leave Montana? :) As a Canadian who grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta I don't get it. It looks so beautiful there. :) I would love to have 200 acres there. That is an interesting story if it's true but it's amazing how quickly people's life goals change. He's swapping saltwater to freshwater of the good ole Mississippi. :)
It is beautiful in Montana. I couldn't imagine living there for any length of time.

I have always wanted to just ride the range. :-) Now more than ever. Living in the concrete jungle is getting suffocating. :-)

I just moved back to Ohio after living in Washington state then North Dakota. The drive through the mountains of Washington and Montana is beautiful. There is also some great hiking. I won't miss living out that way though.
