I may be wrong but this seems to be a pretty rare mushroom. I have no idea what it’s called and

have only seen it one other time and that is where I got it from.

Hi @p@blo could you tell me we’re did you got the original pink Nepthea from? From all the images I’ve seen so far yours seems to be the only true japanese pink Nepthea around even big retailers are advertising something else I believe. Any chance of a close up shot of the polyps

I absolutely love softies but the nice ones like yours are too hard to find.

I have some of the Japanese pink nepthea. It is one of my favorite corals!

Apologies for using you as an example, @p@blo is this the same coral as yours? This is the coral I believe big retailers are flogging as Japanese pink Nepthea not the original coral from Koji Wada

Unfortunately with the coral bans of the past and today dealing with the virus, these used to be a lot bigger now they're very tiny pieces if you come across them. Whitish/pink scleronephthya from Indonesia.
46 Pacific oysters help these thrive, 46 gallon DT, 46 gallon sump

I assume they are the same- manhattan aquarium and Unique are the same owners. I'll try to get a pic. The one in the reefbuilders video doesn't have the prominent sclerites

I tried to get some pictures yesterday of my corals in qt, but some did not work. Here is the two mushrooms. Nothing fancy, but still very pretty.
I keep trying to get my japanese tree, but it does not cooperate with the camera. Too close to the top of tank. The picture below is somewhat decieving. It is more of a florescent blue/green color with light base and darker polyp tips. Cameras can be so wrong. But texture is right.
I did get a decent one of my reddish/purple based with green polyps leather.
