It arrived yesterday! In typical softy fashion it is sulking a little still. Polyps are just starting to show. Here's a current photo, once it's fully extended I will add another one.

Looks pretty good, any guesses on what it is?

what is that beauty? NPS?

Yes, it's a chili leather -- Alcyonium palmatus is the scientific name listed for this specific species according to Blue Zoo where I got it. It sulked for the first week and I was starting to get concerned, even target feeding wasn't getting any response. This morning there's a significant change in appearance.

Seeing all these awesome leathers makes me jealous ! I can never find any good leathers at my LFS’s and all of the decent ones online are 1 - 1 1/2 inch frags for like $70 - $100 :(:(:(

Are they hard to keep? Been seeing them around and have been thinking about getting one.

I've only had mine for about a week, I was worried at first because it was fairly nonresponsive, but there wasn't any deterioration. Today is the first day it seems to have truly settled in. I've heard they can be more difficult due to the need to ensure you're feeding them specifically.
