Howdy,
fairly new here and I was wondering if these corals are reaching for light or they are just growing?
They are relatively new and they have propped right up the last two days or so. Just wondering if they are needing more light or something?
I'm always paranoid about my tank so any help is appreciated! Thanks!

What's the best way to move them without causing too much stress? I consider moving them about about 8 inches from the surface
For the most part, zoas are pretty tough. I'd move them up a couple of inches and see how they do. I find that they really flourish with enough nitrate and phosphate, and with the addition of iodine. In my zoa tank, I keep nitrate at around 10ppm and phosphate at around .2. it seems that my zoas (or something) take up iodine (iodide) about as fast as I can get it in the tank. I do test for it, but it's always zeroed out unless I added it that day.

Supplemental iodine makes my zoas look better by the next morning. It's surprising.
