Is that a Pentacta from the Gulf? I’ve had those a couple of times many years ago (50+). They would filter feed, then slow and stop feeding, and then live motionless for a long time before dying.

Out of curiosity, what did you all try and feed them?Is that a Pentacta from the Gulf? I’ve had those a couple of times many years ago (50+). They would filter feed, then slow and stop feeding, and then live motionless for a long time before dying.
Didn’t feed it anything really. It found a crevice and parked there pretty quickly after I got the TBS rock. It is interesting how it puts out its little tentacles from its rearOut of curiosity, what did you all try and feed them?

I would try offering it some phyto, specifically Isochrysis galbana (T-Iso), Tetraselmis sp., Thalassiosira sp., and Chaetoceros sp.Didn’t feed it anything really. I’ll give it a try and see what happens. Can’t hurtI would try offering it some phyto, specifically Isochrysis galbana (T-Iso), Tetraselmis sp., Thalassiosira sp., and Chaetoceros sp.
Other kinds of phytos like Rhodomonas would probably be good too, but a blend with the above would be my first suggestion, as those have worked well for other filter-feeding cukes.
