Red Monti question

I have had this cap for about 2yrs. It has always been like a bright orange (red in the blues) never seen polyps on it but grows just fine. Went from a 180 from a 90 gal. Tank had been up for 2 months now and I changed the light when going to a bigger tank just (AI sol blues). Had last week I cut the white LEDs back 30%and just have the Royal blue and blue LEDs 50%. And today I noticed that the cap has changed from a bright orange to a darker red and now has polyps showing not sure if that is good or bad. Pic is one of the frags that broke off when moving to the new tank.

I believe it’s normal, nothing to worry about. I had a Monti that did the same when I moved it from a different tank/lighting. But keep an eye on it just in case.
