I haven’t seen this before.

I know acros have polyps and everyone talks about PE but do acros have sweepers?

I'm new to coral and even newer to all SPS.

I’m referring to the long sweepers on the underside of the red planet acro.

I got this red planet about 3 to 4 weeks ago from a local reefer. He needed a yellow tang for a frag system and traded a bunch of different corals from his 300 gallon DT.

When I got the acro it was all red. Since then it got some pink tips and more recently green at its base. I’m liking these new colors and have read that lower light will produce the green at the base on the red planet.
