This Red Sea kit is giving me a massive headache I'm pretty sure I did it right but what's the final alkalinity reading.

There was air I just messed with it but that's where it changed to the pink color. Now how did u come up with the .82?

What was the number you started with? Mine usually starts at .90 due to the air bubble. Your syringe is currently reading 0.18. He is assuming you started with 1.00 in the syringe (1.00 - 0.18 = .82). Then you look at the chart to get your number for 0.82.

What I am confused about is my fluid in my syringe is clear (At least I thought it was, now I have to go check.). Why is your syringe colored?

The alk test is the only one in that kit to have a colored solution. Both calc and mag use clear solutions.

My bad. That's what I get for letting my girlfriend do all the testing for the past few months. Ha ha.
