Hi

Just picked up the Max E170 with additional sump as a going concern and set up all good but struggling with getting the correct levels of water in the sump and rear sump. Last night I was able to get the recommended 6" in the sump return section and halfway between the overflow and emergency overflow in the rear sump this sat OK for a few hours but checking this morning I have lost about 3" in the return section and gained in the rear section to just below the emergency overflow. I have tried for quite a few hours of adjusting the inlet pipe and the flow of the pump but seem to be failing.

Any tips or is it just patience and playing with the downpipe flow/pump flow or both to get the correct flow between down and up?

Cheers

I'm not familiar with the RS E170 system, but I'm willing to try and help. A couple of photos of just what you have would be helpful to all of us who don't know this particular system.

And being just your 2nd post, welcome to R2R!
