One more thing, I do apologize for having my questions too fragmented.

I just did a water change and loaded Cuprisorb in my QT. And am planning to dose Kanaplex ASAP (I have it on hand, Metroplex will be here in 2-3 days, Furan-2 in 1 week or later). Which is the best course of action to take?
1. Wait for copper to zero out, remove Cuprisorb and start to dose Kanaplex (and possibly Metroplex)?
2. Remove Cuprisorb and dose Kanaplex.
3. Cuprisorb remains, and dose Kanaplex.

I'm not sure if Cuprisorb will absorb Kanaplex. By intuition, it should not since Cuprisorb absorbs "copper and other heavy metals" and Kanaplex is not a "heavy metal."

Hi. So Kanaplex is now on its second dose and Metroplex is already on the first dose and the first day of feeding. Still waiting for Furan-2 to arrive. If all goes well, I think this should take 1-2 weeks of recovery. Question is, when do I stop dosing Metroplex? Unlike Kanaplex and Furan-2 who have their "limits" in the box (Kanaplex limited to two rounds of dosing, Furan-2 didn't see the "as needed" part), Metroplex just states, dose until all seems well. Is it safe to assume that I stop dosing once the wounds are healed? Thanks.

I would dose all three for a minimum of 10 days... every 48 hours after a 20-25% waterchange.

Can I do a water change in the middle of the 10 days? Tomorrow, I’m having my third dose of kanaplex, second dose of metroplex and my first dose of furan 2. I’m thinking of having a water change between my first and second doses of furan 2 as stated in the instructions. Is it alright? I’ve read that these meds dissipate after 24 hours so I thought of doing a water change prior to administering the next doses.

Also for furan 2, when you say dose for 10 days and I have 45 gallons. Does it mean to dose 4 packets for 10 days? I’ll underdose instead of overdose as advised by Humblefish in a primer (better to underdose than overdose). And do you mix the meds in a small container of saltwater (from the tank) then pouring the med-mixed water or do you directly dose the powder into the aquarium?

Yes, you should do a 20-25% water change before each new dose. When I've run this course, I ignored the instructions for the Furan-2 and dosed it along with the other two every 48 hours, after a substantial water change. 4 packets for 45 gallons should be fine, or you can dose an extra half-packet.

Just a quick update:

I've dosed my first dose of furan-2, second dose of metroplex and third-dose of kanaplex today. Everyone seems to be still eating, although much less voraciously (i think the metro-soaked food really has a bad taste, tried to "offset" it with 1-2 drops of garlic oil/cube of frozen mysis, would try metro-soaked pellets later). Would do a water change after 48 hours and ordered more furan-2 (I miscalculated my need for furan-2). Hopefully the multicolor would heal quick enough. As of now, no signs of improvement with the wounds.

for whatever its worth.....the last round of fish that i QTd ate metro/focus soaked food just fine, i dont think they even knew lol. i would defrost 2 cubes of mysis, add about 7 drops of selcon and 7 drops of garlic guard, 1 scoop of metro and 1 scoop of focus.

Well, the fish has a decreased appetite with the trifecta in them. The multicolor would only pick on a little food. Is it true that the trifecta would cause appetite supression?
