I almost spit out my coffee when I saw you say, "When I am in a mental space to enjoy doing so." Are you ever in a mental space to enjoy anything? I mean, you could have just said, "Which will never happen."

It's like that kid that gets that awesome candy bar for Halloween and saves it for a special occasion. But he's a kid and there are no special occasions so it sits forgotten amongst the good and plenty at the bottom of the pillowcase, waiting, for that moment to be savored.

There is that rare occasion when the stars align and i get a week straight of interrupted nights sleep and start having fun. Work has me burned out lately. Working days because i have meetings scheduled, and nights because i have service affecting work to do.

BTW - I have not forgotten about that other thing I was working on for you. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get back to it tonight or tomorrow.

I literally do this because I just get tired of moving it to get to other things! I eat it...problem solved...and then....after they haven't touched it for months, one of the kids within a few days are asking, "who ate my [insert whatever it was I ate here]?!?"

Dang, i wonder if the pH bump is bamming things up a notch or something. 1 day at 400ml and i am testing 7.3 this evening. Going to have to keep a close eye on it that.
Sticks are looking fantastic though, i have noticable growth on my bozo.

The biggest problem I see for Mel Brooks movies today is except for a mostly older fan base I don’t feel that his brand of in your face humor resonates. Especially with the current generation.

Its been far too long without any actual tank shots on this page! So, without further ado, here are some of that thing i said. I even cleaned the glass mostly to prove my corals are all still alive and not just theoretical!

That far right one on the rack, really digging how it grows, those thin branches are really cool

A fire engine, still fighting off that plate like a champ

And my sad naked rock that i still need to load down with frags. Im thinking maybe ill relocate that digitata too, that whole top is super prime realestate and the digi grows on my sandbed... ask me how i know...

Same thing for me with Sodium Hydroxide. An average .2 ph bump and now my tank is consuming close to 20% more alk in a week. From 135ml of 165ml to maintain alk at 8.2 - 8.5. Corals look great and pretty sure growth has accelerated.

I was actually thinking about it, but got lazy. What a loser move on my part.

For reals. Just tested and am sitting at 7.0 today. I think I'll bump up another 50ml kalk (450/day) to see how things level out. Pretty cool to see real effects on uptake rates with the increased pH. I tested with my hanna ph tester, it read 8.8, which i highly doubt to be accurate, need to order a titration kit for back up. And some calibration sachets.

Other stuff i tested:
Cal 400ppm
Po4 .25ppm
No3 8ppm
