Redo Aquascaping?

I've had my tank set up for about 6 months now and feel limited by the way I initially aquascaped things. I think the height of my structures is too high and too steep, making it hard to place corals while dealing with strong flow and lighting.

Is it too late to redo my aquascaping? If not, any recommendations on how to go about it and what to prioritize.

i think it looks nice! but is that one rock against the back glass panel? if so i would move it forward

Its your tank, its never too late to change something if you don't like it. Have you thought about how exactly you would do that? It looks pretty well set in there.

I'm changing out my aquascape, I just had rocks loosely piled together but I built a nice new scape for myself which is maturing in a plastic tote container with a damsel. My rocks will mature until October, then I'll make the switch. I've done it this way before and the rocks were mature enough to handle the bioload and also avoid algae growth.

This is just my way but there are other ways. What ever way you choose, IMO the most important consideration is to not disrupt the bacteria population in the tank. Good luck.

Its your tank, its never too late to change something if you don't like it. Have you thought about how exactly you would do that? It looks pretty well set in there.

This ∆ if you are replacing rock. I made the mistake of rescaping a tank with dry rock once and it was never ending battle with nuisance algae.

I like your rock scape. You can move it around while it's in the tank. Be careful not to scratch the glass. Don't do it all at once maybe 1/3 at a time. Might cause algae if you stir too many nasties.

It’s never too late to re-aquascape. I recently rescaled my tank after having it up for two years. It is quite fun to reset the tank :)

It sounds like you have clear ideas of what would do differently. Go with those simple concepts and see where it takes you!
