We are going to continue discussing the reef aquarium facts submitted by our members. Do you agree or disagree? What are your thoughts?

Fact #28

REDBUGS do not lay eggs!

"They are direct developers and thus do not have a free-swimming larval stage and they do not lay eggs on the host or substrates that can later hatch."

Truth or False? What else might we need to learn on this subject? Please also share any pictures that may pertain to the subject. ;)

Anybody have any pictures of red bugs I can use in the first post?

thought that was true, but to get rid of them it is a 3 dip process over 3 weeks so they must have eggs

so should be false

Havent had red bugs for about a year, I wasnt able to get pic just to small. alot of people dont know they have them

I don't know if they lay eggs or not, but they are easy to deal with compared to aefw. Sorry for the crappy pics, it was with a point and shoot.
