I know this varies dependent on the tank and layout, but would somebody be willing to share their program they use on their 48-Ws? I have one 48W for my 75G (48L x 18W x 21H) and I plan on having 'shrooms, zoas, and maybe some SPS.

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

For a start I recommend maxing out at about 30% on each channel (the default program) and adding about 5-10% power to that max each week in order to acclimate your corals to the light. From there, you can tweak the color ratio to your liking, many people prefer more blue and run the blues a bit higher than the white channel.

Hey Logan,
I checked out the video on your website and it only shows 2 programs being programmed...mine has 3. I was hoping for something along the lines of this spreadsheet that another reefer gave me, but it is only showing 2 channels.

Anybody have any ideas?

I see, I will have to update the spreadsheet. For now, just sub the third channel in for one of the 2 to get numbers for programming. You can also do the opposite 12 hours for the moonlights, though running them higher during the day as well is recommended as this will provide more 480nm blue during daylight hours.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
