Hello.

I have a reef mat 1200. When using their fleece roll all if a sudden i was going through a roll a week. This forced me to find an alternative. I found a place that has 20 micron roll and purchased some.

Now for some reason the roll barely moves and when it does it advances at the same times and amou t every day. This doesn't seem right. Any ideas. Thank you

It may not be related but in the app you can adjust how much is advanced each time. And I wonder if the app/driver doesn’t know how much it’s turning on the miscellaneous roll. It might just be moving enough to barely get the sensor out of the water

It is odd that using the Red Sea 200 micron, you were going through a roll a week, but switching to 20 micron, which is much finer, you are not getting any use of the fleece. This suggests the water is not flowing through the 20 micron fleece and instead is going through the emergency escape at the top.

I believe your flow rate through the REEF MAT is either too high, not allowing the water level to settle below the sensor, or you have turbulence that creates big bubbles on the sensor, which is causing it to think fleece needs to be turned. I see the latter all the time with the 1200.
