I enjoy my little emerald crabs. Don't see them too much in a bigger tank, but they are neat. :)

I know for a fact that there is no pistol shrimp or any burrowing isopods... I watched them so frequently that its almost as if they slowly become sick and die. I really don't understand it.

Shrimp are neat additions. Fire shrimp although a little pricey sometimes, are a colorful addition. Acclimate all shrimp at least 45min - 1 hour especially cleaner and check the salinity in the bag they are in to see if it is too different from your own. Should not be having trouble with the perimeters you have they are good.They just don't acclimate as fast as fish do unless the bag water and your water are really close. Good Luck.
