My tank is about 30 gallons total volume and I go through just about the entire 5 gallons in a week. The evaporation rate is crazy! Goodluck with the frag tank, that's pretty exciting! I hope I can get my tank to that point so I can start trading pieces and what not. My corals have been growing more lately than they have in a while. I think I've finally turned my bum luck around (*knocks furiously on wood*).
It's going good for less than 8 months old! I'll post some pics tomorrow once the lights come on and the tank has settled I just did a 15 gallon water change cleaned the skimmer and wave makers all that fun stuff...

This is taped to the counter at my LFS, we all laugh about it, even my wife.

Too many to count . . . how about not getting rid of a few Valonia and ending up with a tank infestation where I plan on dosing fluconazole, not checking my fish after taking the top off for 20 minutes and losing a Midas Blenny on the floor who died, too many instances of letting the RO/DI overflow the bucket before I got the float/check valve adaptor thingy, overfeeding, undertesting, forgetting to add some alkalinity and getting some recession on a beautiful turbinaria frag, keeping the lights on too high and bleaching several Ricordea including some nice R. yumas, overfeeding the QT tank and getting ammonia spikes that killed 2 fish, . . . the list goes on! Buying a flame scallop years ago (starved, obviously), . . .

Not having my new tank perfectly level before starting to add water. Had to drain and relevel.

Going cheap on a controller and bought a reefkeeper lite plus. Worked great until it decided it like running my alk dosing pump all night sending it from 9.2 to well over 30.0 in 12 hours. Not a thing in my 3 year old sps dominate tank made it.

Lol my LFS hooks me up but I send them nee customers an have been using them 20 out of the 25 years they've been im business now. They still use the old punchcard system $10 off every $100 you spend but usually they give me 15-20% off at the register depending on how much I spend.

I wish my lfs did the same! That’s awesome!

Regret leaving my frag tank light on for like 5 days straight!! Corals got stressed and algae started taking back over! Good news is that everything is back to normal now after a few days of regular lighting schedule! :)

Sensor went bad on my JBJ titanium heater, but I didn’t think much of it as I was falling asleep watching the numbers jump on the display. Woke up, went to work. Came home to an 86 degree F tank No losses, more than thankful I came home earlier than normal.

Did a 50 gallon water change yesterday without checking my salt supply first.

salinity will have to be 1.022 until my shipment of salt comes in. Thank goodness for salt creep. LOL
