We should use member photos, where possible, too.

Jello volunteers to be the model for Niger Triggers

This would let people see them in a home aquarium, not just a stock photo.

I, too, like this idea but we're going to need better photos. I mean, look at Jello. He's all out of center. Please don't let him know you posted a lousy pic of him or he'll be crushed.

I think the goal is to use members' photos, unless there is no way we can!

@revhtree I would also love to help as much as I can, I’d like to give back to this community as much as I can and help do my part.

I’m a fast typer, have experience with clerical work. I am a business owner and at the end of the day it’s always up to me to make sure things are done right and correct.

Maybe have an added line for volunteer “species expert” users that people can reach out to directly for more info.
Also, a poll to show what corals people have successfully kept with each “reef safe with caution” species.
Maybe a Keys to success line (multiple feedings per day, low temp, high flow, etc)

I love the idea of a keys to success line.

As in the flame angel example provided, it would be useful to include anything to look out for regarding QT (copper sensitivity, etc.). Also if there are particular diseases that species is commonly associated with (uronema in chromis) or if particularly species are more seriously impacted by cyanide collection methods (CBB), that would be worth including as well.

Most fish dealers still list green chromis as beginner, but I don't think this is still true due to supply chain issues... which brings me to another suggestion. Instead of lumping them together, could we separate acclimation difficulty from care difficulty?

Copperbands, for example, are difficult to acclimate but I've heard in many cases they are quite easy to care for once properly acclimated.

So I was thinking about this the other day, so what if we also do a visual guide for like your cuc, macros, and maybe hitchhikers in the same format. For a lot of these, the data is already on threads that are here just need to consolidate.
