i just got my order in from reef beauties, and im honestly farrrrr more impressed with this company than i was with live aquaria or saltwaterfish. these fish are extremely healthy, eating and super thicc! I had a few requests all of which were met and they messaged me twice without me asking to inform me of anything even a half inch over what i asked for to ask if its okay to send. Their customer service is unmatched when it comes to ordering fish they were so unbelievably helpful and gave me exactly what i asked for and made sure they did it right the first time. the packaging the fish came in was really well put together and the addition of them catching a late flight out of LA at 11 pm last night had them at my doorstep in 9 hours........thats really good. I cant speak much for anyone elses experience with this company but me personally will only be ordering from them since you can get almost any fish you want at atleast a 50% discount compared to other sellers. ill post some pics if anyone wants i got a koran angel, fox face, six line wrasse, 15 astria snails (they are all alive wow half the time some are dead) naso tang, starry puffer, and a pink watchman and all of this costed???? $249 USD. insane.

This is really good to hear. Ive never done business with them but now I will give it a shot.

I've ordered 3 times from them now. Most recently last week. Flame Angel, blue throat trigger, Kleins butterfly. Never an issue. Every time fish have settled in and eaten on the first day. Highly recommend.

I had asked them to send all fish 2 inches or less. What I got was exactly that, but vibrant healthy and eating.they pre measured the fish for me and everything. Really great company.

Great review. I have considered them many times but it just hasn't worked out with them having what I wanted. I will definitely give them a try as their prices are great and they usually have a great variety of fish.

Anybody got a copperband from them? I asked them if they came in eating. They said they can't guarantee it, but the customers who did order had good success rte.

You can just ask them not to send you one that they havnt atleast seen eat, they shouldn’t have an issue with that especially if you order other fish with it. They wouldn’t guarantee it eating because it has a chance to stop eating after shipping….but one they atleast have seen eat could be a better bet

This is what I did with my entire order and we discussed this exact thing with copper bands as the subject. I dropped a fish off my order because they hadn’t seen it eat yet and they were honest about it with me aswell.

I've done business with Reef beauties numerous times with great success. I'm now looking for a new vendor because they had a policy change. You have to spend $100 minimum to place an order. It wasn't like that a few months ago. Include shipping. You have to spend at least $150 to get anything from them which sucks because I gave them so much business in the past.

I‘ve had a bit of a contention with them about how they’ve labeled their fish. To me, Japanese Swallowtail is Genicanthus semifasciatus, which is what they’ve actually labeled on their site; these guys only come into the trade very sparingly, maybe 1-2x per year. They’re actually selling Genicanthus melanospilos, which is pictured on their site, which is a Swallowtail Angel which are readily available.

I asked that they change this years ago to correct the confusion…

Wow never knew that. Seems kind of wrong to do that or could be plain and simple ignorance on their/their suppliers part. Won’t order one from them if that’s the case.

I just ordered with them, and I agree. VERY impressed. I ordered 5 lyretail anthias a couple of weeks ago. Better prices than liveaquaria or saltwater fish.com. They were very healthy and were eating like little piggies literally a few hours after I got them at 10am. Within a few days, they were no longer afraid of me, and eagerly look forward to feeding time. As of now, they’re still all healthy 15 days later. 5 out of 5 stars for them!
