Hello R2R, another fish selection post here.
My current Reefer 250 is 55g display/10g sump, and is about 2 years old.
I have had only 3 fish in here for the longest time and am now looking to add more fish that will bring more visual appeal, fun to watch etc.
Current fish (see pics)
1x Maroon clown - pretty chill, rarely aggressive
1x bicolor blenny
1x royal gramma
CuC:
6-7 blue leg hermits
1 stone crab I need to remove
2-3 nassarius snails
3-4 astrea snails
1 pistol shrimp
1 conch
I'm looking for advice here on 1-2 'showpiece' fish such as leopard wrasse or mandorin goby(understanding the due diligence requirements for those)
chromi 'school'?
any puffer (I once had one that did not nip corals - cutest little guy)
any cool tang/angels considering my smaller tank?
and then any other 'filler' fish such as cardinal, yellow goby, etc.
I am just running a nyos skimmer, no GFO/carbon, no fuge, etc.
Phosphates stay around .04 and Nitrates around 5ppm.
I would appreciate any advice, suggestions, fish to avoid considering my current fish. Thank you.
