Tank Specs/Equipment:
-Tank: 39g Rimless w/glass canopy (24" x 20" x 20")
-Sump: Eshopps RS-75
-Lighting: ATI 24" 6x24W Dimmable SunPower T5 Fixture
-Skimmer: Eshopps S-120 Cone Skimmer
-Controller: ReefKeeper Lite
-Flow: Vortech MP10
-Heater: ViaAqua 200 W Titanium
-Chiller: 1/10 HP JBJ Artica

My 39 Gallon is finally up and running and with most details settled, I thought it was time to start a thread. It's been going for about a month and everything is good to go, except I am waiting on the glass canopy. Not too concerned about that until I am adding fish, but I am still hoping to have it soon.

For my aquascape, I used all dry rock and did mixture of live sand with dry, about 50/50. (CaribSea's Arag-Alive Bimini Pink & Nature's Ocean Samoa Pink). I'll post a FTS soon and hopefully will be able to keep up with updates on everything as it comes along. May start moving some corals in this week. My nano is overflowing in anticipation of this tank being setup so it's getting a little tight in there.

Great looking tank! Thanks for sharing! I love the rock work, very original!

Thanks! I tried to be creative in order to have space for a variety of corals. I plan on doing mostly chalices, a few euphyllia and then space on the ground for some amazing scolys and fungias (well hopefully anyway). There's also some room for more rock if I decide i need that. Who knows what I'll end up picking up :)

Here's an updated FTS (by the worst photographer)

I'll get a stock list posted soon. Some of the items are temporarily being housed here until I'm ready to move them to my other tank. You may notice the scolys are a little crowded and some of them are on the moving list.

Thanks! I've been hoarding in this tank while waiting for the new one to get setup. I'm not 100% happy with the "clutter" in the sandbed so was holding off. Definitely waited too long. I'm horrible with updates ;)

These won't all necessarily stay in this tank, but liked how this pic looked.

awesome Aussie scolymias. I can't believe all the colors that's coming in. I still remember when the Rainbows started coming in. Great collection going on. Much props. :)

Well, thanks again! These are about half of my collection. I loved all the scolys you used to have. I would watch for the updates on which one you would get next. I personally love them all and scolys are by far one of my favorites. The one to the left of the rainbow is one of my very first ones. I have had it for over 3 years now.

Thanks. Those were the coral days. LoL. That's cool that you've had one for over 3 years. Must know a lot about this type of coral. Great job man! When you get a chance, you should write about your experiences about Aussie scolymias. I'm sure someone will benefit in learning from someone that's kept them for a while. :)

For the last three years I had given up on acans. I paid a pretty penny to watch them turn white and red. That was before I knew much about their lighting or anything. Then a little while ago I saw the "Eye of Yashis" and decided to try again. Had these for about 5 weeks and they are still looking good to me.

Another quick little share. This picture isn't in focus, but came from an experiment with some time lapse equipment we recently got. The experiment didn't work so well on the first try, but this picture still caught my eye. My clowns love to abuse my wellso. The one lays in it half the day. At first I was concerned since she would literally lay there and not move. Now I know it's just what she does. I'm sure they'll be plenty more pics like this down the road.

I love the clutter in the sand bed. What have you got for livestock in the tank?

It's so funny that you mentioned that. I was going to do an updated FTS when I got home last night, but it was lights out already. I actually took out three Scolys to go in my 45 and sold two others. The sand bed it much less cluttered. I'll hopefully be able to get an updated pic later. I'll also get my livestock list together ;) I was holding off since I know some pieces would move. I may now officially be in what I'm calling the grow out stage.
