Refuge Flow Rate

What should the flow rate be for a refuge? I am planing on trying a DIY project with an old SeaClone Skimmer by turning it into a HOB Refuge. I just think the MJ1200 that comes with it might be a little to much?

the cpr aquafuges use the equivalent of an mj400 for flow.

yeah the 1200 will be too much, as gilmour said, more like a 400 max...
