I wanted to post my success with this light, and open this to discussion. I know lighting is a hotly debated topic, and i like knowing what others are doing. I basically got a clamp light from Lowes, removed the reflector and stuck an Ultra Bright LED GE Light 200w replacement (32w light) and this is the growth i got on my chaeto in around three and a half weeks.

Light isn't even installed properly as you can see and i am getting amazing growth. I believe the bulb was 24$ and it's 5000k. For reference my sump is 10 gallons, and the light seems so strong that it's bleaching a little bit at the very center. If anyone is like me, and is unsure if this bulbs will grow seaweed be assured you'll have to remove some like crazy.

This isn't surprising. On my planted tank they do just fine with a generic 5500k led spotlight. Anything close to the color temperature of the sun should be sufficient to grow macro algae. No need for a 200 dollar refugium light that makes your stand look like it's got pot plants in it.
Good stuff!
