Hello,
I am asking for thoughts on reinforcing my floor to handle a 165 gallon reef tank with 40 gallon sump. Would reinforcement of the floor be necessary? I live on a raised foundation and have a joist running perpendicular straight through the center of this 6 foot aquarium. Pictured below is the joist that sits directly under the center of the aquarium. Should I reinforce? If so, how should I go about doing this? There's only one just that sits under the tank.
Thank you.
