The specs on Waterbox page don't match Saltwateraquarium.com.

https://waterboxaquariums.com/products/aio-15-cube

Waterbox has it listed under freshwater and this is the only 15 peninsula they currently sell. Did they discontinue the 15 saltwater?

It shows the same plumbing you have.
I think they did! I didn’t buy the one off waterbox because it was obviously meant for freshwater. That’s why I went on SaltwaterAquarium and got the one I thought was the saltwater one.

I usually stay out of sight, but Bless you my son!

I'm busy walking on water, but I think these are available in standard inch tubing sizes sizes I didn't really examine the specs.

I was looking at the pump that was supplied, and I have used something similar (it may have actually been smaller) and they ran perfectly for a few trials until they stopped after about a month of use. I would plan on replacing the pump, if it was mine.

Oh, and for folks who may still think I am, THe LOrd, I hope He hasn't struck me dead for the evil impersonation.

Send flowers to @tbrown if I pass.
Ugh, plumbing messiah or not, you are a life saver. 😭

I found one on Amazon that had better reviews along with some hose.

Does this look sound?

Yup, from the site
" Return Jets are available in two sizes for either 1/2" to 3/4" ID hose, or 3/4" to 1" ID flexible hose.

The reviews say that the fitting is very tight for 1/2 hose, which is a shame.

This pump would be an excellent replacement if it fits?

AI seems to indicate it will fit the chamber dimensions you listed

AI Overview

Sicce Syncra 1.0 Pump

The Sicce Syncra Silent 1.0 pump is a submersible pump with a flow rate of 251 gallons per hour (GPH). It measures approximately 3.54" x 1.89" x 2.83" (length x width x height). The pump is designed for aquarium use and can be used either submerged or in-line. It also features a synchronous motor, adjustable flow rate, and a long-lasting impeller and shaft.
Edit:

Never mind, but the one you posted is 3/4 inch diameter hose, which is fine just make sure the pump outlet also handles 3/4" and you should be golden.

Start a build thread. 😇

If you decide to go this way, consider a DC pump. I have a Sicce 1.5(?) and it is quiet but there is a buzz.

I used
Amazon product
on my 15 cube and it is dead silent. Also controllable. Speed/feed mode. Nice little pump

Thank you so so much I can’t stress this enough.

One thing tho…I can’t find any U return pipes that can fit a 1/2” hose. Based on the reviews as you’ve said, the 3/4” hose would fit the U pipe, but not the sicce 0.5. Would the 1.0 fit in chamber?

The Sicce 1.0 on line size (i don't have one to check) should fit. I actually think that the 0.5 and 1.0 sicce use the same return nozzle-hardware, but again I don't have access to these pumps or fittings to verify connectivity. I would find a site or lFS that has them and ask them to figure this one out.

Sorry, I checked my garage and I don't have the smaller Sicce .

Hey Kris!

Just came here to give you a huge thanks! Everything fit like a glove. I decided to get a JBJ pump instead of a sicce simply for the fact it had a 3/4 fitting.

Again, thanks SOOOOOOoooooooOOoo much!!!

I am super happy to hear that you’re making progress and am glad that I can be helpful once in awhile!

@tbrown - I won this one 😇

bB, you might want to get a bulkhead and plug up the original hole for best results?

Thanks for the update, the tank looks great.
