Rev's 120g Build... (Pic Intensive)

Well I am going to be limited to space on this project so all the equipmentwill have to be contained under the stand.

The tan is an all glass 120g with modern series stand and canopy. I will be finishing the tank, installing the lights, rock, plumbing, and all that jazz in the next few weeks.

I just painted the inside of the stand today with some killz to add a little water sealing.

I will post the equipment list here shortly, but for now a pic or two with some of my favorite boxes that say tunze.. :D

Metal Halide Effect On Thermostats

Rev, Is this the tanks permanent location? Are you going to run T-5s?.
Metal halides will throw out enough heat (even with fans blowing in opposite direction.) to effect your thermostat. It appears to be to the right of your tank in close proximity. Also your cold air return draws in air and will have a min. effect of cooloing on the tank as close as it is. You may want to slide it down a foot or so. JMO

Keep on reefin.......

Rev,

That is a really nice stand. Do you foresee any issues or concerns with the outlet being right behind your sump?

Hey Oldsun thanks for the input. I really need to consider this, I wonder about any options I may have. it looks like I got a lot of room to move it down, but any further and it will be in the way of the couch..

Thanks bro. I havent even thought of the impact this could have....

Any ideas on how I could leave it here as there is NO other place for the tank at all. Plus I will need that outlet..

Looks awesome Rev. Please plumb your skimmer into the overflow bo. It will work wonders for your tank.
