Rhomboid Wrasse Concaved Skin?

Just added a rhomboid super male that was in QT for 20 days.

I can try to get better pics (Ik it’s a horrible pic) but this is him in my 310g Any idea what this weird white sunken area is on him?

Can't tell much with the pics but I have the same fish. They can change their color tome fairly dramatically.

I would just monitor then Mines been in the tank 3 years. He goes from deep purple and magenta to deep yellow and magenta when he is mad.
