Acropora babies at the Secret Home Lab. I am very busy
The acropora larvae we’re starting to get stuck on the screens so it seemed like time to move them and substrates to the settling ‘tank’. There are many on the substrates, but don’t appear to have yet settled.
I think he would be more likely to name it after a type of act that wouldn't allow it to be discussed on R2REdit: Name it something like Super Awesome Skimmate something or other and include a Tee Shirt for the low price of $100.00

This is a medium feed for the reef that took place over an hour, edited to about 8 minutes. First is a PE mysis flake feed. A little while later I add a chuck on PE Calanus to the auto feeder (not shown). Then a mix of PE Calanus, Hikari mysis, and LRS foods are added at intervals (normally added in different spots, but added from behind the tank for the sake of the vid). The video ends with a few minutes of the reef in silence with all the polyps open and feeding.
Can you screenshot? What's the basslet/dottyback in the center cave?

Just an update - we had a second spawn in May, so we did it - corals collected and spawned in 2019 also spawned in sync with corals collected in 2020. They went the entire cycle. We are so excited.
The settlers from April are doing well.
Coralline algae can engulf and kill newly settled acropora. Removing it is a pain, not just because of tiny tools and mag specs, but because you can damage or dislodge the settler accidentally. This is the grouping I have been visualizing the most post settlement, so I am happy that the removal went well this time. For scale, the polyp without the tentacles is about 1 mm across
