I picked up a frogspawn head today. The skeleton has a ring as well as some slime that extends onto the plug. Does anyone know what the ring and slime is and if it's ok?

The slime on the right side of photo covers part of the skeleton and seems to extend down the plug.

Ring that seems to be a part of the skeleton.

The slime is most likely because you have it out of the water. They slime up when they're annoyed.
Thanks. I'll give it some time. I actually noticed it in the container and didn't see this with my hammer and torch so I was concerned.
