So I think I found the problem, I decided to dunk the whole system under water to look for leaks and sure enough the 90 deg elbow ontop of the membrane was blowing bubbles out of it. I re-sealed it and stopped the bubbles and have better flow. According to chat gpt lol, the system should fill up a half a cup in one minute, it’s now producing half a cup in a minute and a half, a lot better than the starting 4 minutes to fill. Due to not being at the optimal pressure, I’ll take it where it currently is now. Thank you for the help and suggestions everyone much appreciated!
Bubbles? So it had an air lock? Perhaps the orientation of these RO buddies is important?

50 gallons per day at 25C. At 22C you at about 85% of that I would guess. Too lazy to look it up but call it 40 something gallons per day.

You have 77 PSi or so and the membrane’s output is rated at 70 PSI, so that puts you back closer to 50 GPD due to boosting output a bit.

50 GPD is ~2 gallons per hour, which is about 4.4 ounces per minute… so best case about 2 minutes to full a cup.

ChatGPT does not do math well and just repeats whatever nonsense it sucked in. There is no human curator telling it facts.

And If it still has air pockets(need to be purged), production will be reduced and it will probaly burn through cartridges faster.

I tried Tilting it 90 degrees and haven’t really seen more bubbles come out of either the filtered return or waste, the DI has a lot less bubbles that it had before. When starting the system, is it recommended to gradually go to full pressure? Or get to full pressure say within 5 seconds?

Just open it up. Run the air out of each stage seperately. hold the output end facing up
