Amazing build so far. my first 400 was lifted by a hydrolic jack with around 6-7 people to lift it on. weirdly my much heavier current 400 (19mm vs 15 and braced VS eurobraced as well as with double bottom VS single bottom on the first one) was lifted by only 3 or 4 persons. remember seeing their veins pop up while lifting :)

Your 300 was epic so looking forward to this.. Since you do like big colonies and this is the first massive rimless tank i've seen i am sure you'll have one of the best tanks in the world in no time.. best of luck.

If you have the patience, use painter's tape, it gives you a guide where to stop, also it gives you a nice clean look without the bleeding. I also mark the PVC to provide a stop for those tough angles. Last pic shows the nice clean look once the tape is taken off.

Been busy with work, heres an update. Had to raise the cabinets over a foot, so I can sit my skimmer on the counter. Plumbing went great. Just hope the feed line lines up with the pipe on the tank, you'll see what I mean when I being the tank in. Also installed a manifold to feed my Calcium reactor. Also installed my water change line.

Very clean install! Is that the laundry room? I’m quite certain my wife would end me if I started occupying her laundry room. Lol
Haha, yeah claimed it years ago. You shouldve seen her face when I told her we need to remove a window to put the stand in :)

That’s the thickest bottom panel I’ve seen in that size tank. Going to keep it open top? I’d assume since you built it without bracing.

Need some updates on this beast.

Great looking build so far. I'm interested to see how you incorporate a sump under the tank, while also having equipment in a separate room. I like the through-wall piping. My more elegant solution than what I did... just drilling a hole and sending the pipe through. :0)

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
