little update, what happened since I sarted nitrate dosing with Neo Nitro. It elevated my nitrates to 5 and has been steady but with 20ml dosing daily, I have took out all my chaeto, but a baseball size. I have developed Cyano, which is a bit fo a eye sore, and what I have observed is the nitrification process is working over time, its like I just finished a cycle, forming alot of nitrogen gas bubbles off my live rock on a nightly bases, also I turned my UV back on line, has not been on since last winter. better safe then sorry, dont know what kind of bacteria that it revived during this process.... just shows how opportunistic bacteria is when a little nutrient is introduced in the tank. Is it worth, yes I think so, acros look much better with better color...just need to be more hands on...it was on auto pilot for a while now. one other thing is kind of odd, is my CSB is on the move, and was on the base of my White Zombie for a week or so, now its in the back of the tank near my Slimer... hope it settles somehwere permanent.

Thanks, hope you did too!

Nitrates are now hovering around 10 and po4 is .09 and my Tenius are darkening up a bit and some are going through a little growth spurt. During this process, seems like I went through a little cycle....and visually had cyano and nitrogen bubbles coming off the rocks.. but all have dissipated...so I'm happy with that. And another thing ive noticed Coraline algae halted a bit when I had low nutrients and now I can visually see Coraline algae spots popping up everywhere. Don't know if there is any correlation to that, but the last time it was going crazy with coraline growth was a few years ago and hated it. But I did do a ICP test and remembered my No3 was 10 and po4 was .05 🤯. But overall everything is on point and getting dialed in!!

Thanks for the update.

Happy to hear you got things worked out with the NO3 and PO4 and back on tracck again.

One of the cool things about posting updates here is that when something happens, down the road, the updates can be used as a good point of refernece and provide an accurate timeline.

Maybe, when you can, put up some pics because, well, you know, we love pics!

Killing it!

(had to put on a different song while watching. I went with something a little heavier which also carries feelings of how you must feel about your tank.)

Tunze Orca 6105's , its what I needed!!

Good to see you pop in here, Rob!

There are a lot of people here looking for a review of the Orca. If it's not too much trouble or time consuming, if you were to write up a review I am sure there would be a lot of grateful people.
