Hi I’m looking to get my own rodi unit I’m in the uk and have been looking at the tmc v2 pure 100 advanced RO system. I’m just wondering if this would be a good enough unit to come out with 0 tds reading as only a 2 stage unit or if anyone knows a good one I can get in the uk?

No it will not
It needs a 4th stage with DI resin to remove what the RO does not

Thanks I’ve been looking online and have found a company vyair who make a 4 stage with di resin stage I’m assuming that will be good enough they also sell a separate TDS metre that can be fitted to the rodi unit I think I’m going to go for both.

Try to find out what your town water TDS is (this info is usually available from the water utility). If this is not possible I would recommend a four stage (mechanical particulate, activated carbon, Membrane, Resin). Getting a TDS meter is also a good idea, aim for reducing the town supply TDS by at least 95%. If your market is anything like ours, everyone who sells these will tell you theirs is best and back that up with very little evidence however there are certainly some brands here that you would want to steer clear of.

Thanks the one im looking at has each of them in there four stage they have good reviews from what I’ve read the inline TDS meter I’m going to get also has 3 parts so you can measure the incoming TDS from tap water and end result worth asking the question as it saves me going for the tmc I first looked at.

Make sure you get a TDS or EC meter and pressure gauge with the unit. Never horizontal DI get 10" tall DI. Good luck!

Id be careful. never heard of that brand or unit. These are easy to assemble and put together but typically cheap parts and low quality filters.
