First time replacing filters on my RODI unit and I see different suggestions for replacing with little to no information on the BRS site. Is running with the flush valve open for 10 minutes sufficient to flush the new sediment and carbon filters or do filters need to be rinsed/soaked in the canister prior to installing?

Run 10 minutes you'll be good

If you're replacing the ro membrane it has to be flushed as it has something on it for storage . If you don't flush it , it will make your di cartridge expire quickly . My system is Aqua FX barracuda. I found directions on their website for changing the filters . I believe there all pretty much the same

The carbon filter has to be flushed before it goes into the membrane.
Remove the end of the hose going into the membrane from the carbon block & let it run into a sink or bucket for a few minutes. reconnect the hose & it's all good.
You can also put a 3 way valve into the hose for next time. Just open the valve & water flows out into a sink or container.
