I just installed a float valve on my RODI and it is not turning off the supply when up. I have the BRS 4 stage value plus system and am getting 65 psi on the gauge. The float switch stops the flow but the waste water continues to flow and the water output line builds up tons of pressure. When I lift the float it sprays water releasing the pressure. I verified that the pressure shut off valve is plumbed correctly so I am not sure what else to look at. Or am I understanding incorrectly? I thought that when the float blocks the output the pressure valve will shut off supply water.
