Hi folks, just a quick question.

I just got a new RODI unit from @Buckeye Hydro (great unit!). I let it run to flush the system and then I produced and discarded the first gallon of RODI water.

after that I produced ~5 gallons of fresh RODI water and tested it using my HM Com 100 HM Com 100 and it is reading 0.1 tds.

I am wondering whether that 0.1 reading is within margin of error or if I need to troubleshoot what is causing a trace tds reading?

thank you!

How did you test the product water? Was it in the container or did you do it separately? I usually do mine in a separate cup that I have cleaned before hand. Have you had the tds meter tested against a known solution?

Yes I tested the tds meter against the HM 342ppm solution, it was pretty much spot on

I also pulled the water out into a clean glass that I rinsed with RODI prior to testing
