I just bought a liquagen 5 stage 75gpd unit and only made about 30 gallons of water and my di resin is already almost depleted, could it be a pressure issue? Or I’m on well water could it be something to do with that? I flushed my system per instructions when setting up my system.

Well water can have lots of CO2 it it which uses up di resin. An horizontal resin setup is not very efficient

The cartridge should be in line with the others and the top bracket you have it on is for the membrane causing the premature wear with the resin. I ran well water with my unit and it lasted quite some time. Here is typical setup:

There’s another horizontal canister underneath the di resin
Oh I see it.

As stated above, it's unusual to have the DI stage on its side because you don't want water channeling through the resin. It normally would be flowing from bottom to top.

That may explain uneven use of the resin.

There is a membrane attached below the di resin, I plan on buying the upgrade kit that adds the double units to the sides of the unit, thank you for the feedback

Would this be what I’m looking for

Can you just mount the exisiting one vertically?
That would be my first choice.

Also a TDS meter is essential so that you know when to change consumables.

TDS out of the membrane should be about 5% of the number coming out of the tap.
Then that should drop to zero after the resin.

I'd buy a dual TDS meter and be measuring before and after the resin stage so that you can see when the resin needs changing, but also see if the membrane is still okay.
