RS Reefer LEDs

I found on a commercial website following LED systems recommended for RS Reefer 350 - SPS level of light:


-TWO Kessil A360WE Wide Angle Dimmable Controller Ready Tuna Blue LED Lights 90W (New E Series) (180W Total)
or
-Kessil AP700 LED Light 185W
or
-TWO 48" Marineland Reef LED Strip Lights 54W (108W Total)
or
-48" Current USA Dual Orbit Marine PRO LED Lights 134W

Is this enough??? 0.5 W/L? some other opinions?

I am trying to find out how much LED power I actually need for my RS Reefer 350.
Dont want weak lights, but also is useless to have high power system and keep everything at 25%.
What is actual power you guys are using??

I'd try to target a specific Par range. Or lux.

I don't think watts per gallon works for LED. Too many variables.

Yes I know and this makes me crazy. I am DIYer, but I only look around at recommendations in order to build my ultimate light :). I prepared something like 2W/liter on higher than regular quality LEDs, but with less than 50W module I burned my SPS and the BTA runned under rocks. I invested so much in cooling, when actually I use the lights on so low power than fans dont even start.
But still dont know if in time will need more power, as corals can adapt to huge amounts.
In the end I will build the 2x180W modules I planned (initially were 3x) and will start using them at 10-15% and weekly rise a bit the power to the point where corals cannot handle anymore :)

I suggest getting a par meter to test the levels. Much above 200 par and your softies are going to be mad. Much above 300 and your SPS are going to be mad.

uhhh. now im soo confused.
Check out those par threads I posted. Also check out Melevs par walkthrought. He's pushing only 700 or 800, some are pushing 1500 par.

Check out this thread, we were talking about Kessels this morning. It has some par specs from other users. Id think youll go with 2

I currently have 35000 lux on my sps tank with a Radium blue. Use the lux converter and tell me what i have in my tank. There is a tricolor valeda and a small unknown stick 3.in below top of the tank.
there is a rbta 5in below that and zoas 3 than 5 in below that.
